Online photo rivals Flickr and Snapfish have just announced a partnership that will allow Flickr users to order prints that will be served up by one of Snapfish’s direct local printing facilities in 22 countries worldwide. All Flickr members can now create “photo prints, books, collages, calendars and more and get them shipped to most anywhere in the world.”
The combination of Snapfish’s superior printing options and delivery with Flickr’s huge user base sounds like a win-win for HP and Yahoo! (Snapfish and Flickr’s parent companies, respectively).
Is it a coincidence that this partnership is announced at the start of the holiday shopping season? Happy printing.
