Good friend Jeremy Toeman of LiveDigitally recently launched AppRate, a new site that reviews and rates applications for the Facebook platform.

The site is community-driven and highlights the good, the bad, the trendy, and the mainstays hoping to appeal to the diverse demographics that populate the most talked about social network on the Web today.

Apprate is divided into categories which makes focused browsing a breeze. Each app is reviewed and in turn, earns 1 to 5 stars based on overall user sentiment.
