The Under The Radar VIP party was held at Zibibbo in Palo Alto and it was bub.blicio.us; not with over-the-top drinks, entertainment, or gourmet foods, it was packed with a-list influencers, visionaries and other top dealmakers. Don’t get me wrong though, the wine and appetizers were delicious.
As the official Office 2.0 event kickoff party, the team at Dealmaker Media ensured top connections, great conversations, all wrapped in the nervous excitement of having to the next day.
We arrived at 6:30 (the start time) and it was already overflowing…I can’t say that I’ve been to a party recently where everyone was on time, usually 50% are fashionably late.
In one room, the leaders of the Office 2.0 movement discussed its future. Imagine where applications and business adoption will be this time next year. Many of these players, I’m sure, will have folded, changed business models, been acquired by applications looking for new features, or hopefully, cultivated a paying subscriber base.
Either way, the movement is showcasing how to work more efficiently using online applications to the edglings, who in turn, share their vision with the rest of the world.
