Here’s a refreshing break from the Yahoo and Microsoft discussion.
Wired ran a story chronicling the history of Google’s now famous logo. It’s actually a very interesting lesson for those startups currently going through their first branding process or experiencing a makeover because the first attempt didn’t work out.
Each logo features a detailed description of the design and the reasons for evolution that spanned through each iteration.
