Tech Soup Episode 8: Mashable Potato with Beacon Bits

With all of the news coming out of CES this week, we couldn’t even begin to narrow it down, but one clever prank from Gizmodo did catch our eye!

In this episode, we also give our take on the latest with Facebook’s new advertising platform and the fact that Mark Zuckerberg will be appearing on 60 minutes this Sunday. (As will Charlene Li.)

Last night we attended the Open Web Awards held by Mashable where we conducted a few interviews that you should watch for next week (Shameless Plug). Today we’re giving you a glimpse into what it’s like dealing with some of our rowdy fans! For our pics of the event you can go here.
