Tangler Introduces Forums 2.0 – Embeddable and Portable

Tangler has grown to over 1,000 forums in four months by introducing a new approach to discussion back in 2006.  Now Tangler is enabling topics to be shared across the web similar to the way YouTube videos are displayed in blogs and Web sites, basically one conversation with multiple access points.

Tangler’s new Integrated Discussion Forums encourage your viewers to increase their interaction with your site and with each other and, I’ve got to say, it’s pretty compelling.

The forums are customizable for seamless integration, which allow conversations to be started, but in turn portable and embeddable in other venues that can also benefit from extending the discussion.
Think about it. Theoretically speaking, we could host a simple bub.blicio.us-centric conversation about whether or not we are really in bubble 2.0 and have that forum/conversation embedded in our post along with posts from other partner sites and blogs. So, this one discussion can be published to new readers through various outlets, enabling one gigantic, interesting and ongoing dialog.

“Forums have previously been walled gardens. By connecting them in a network and letting them spread across the web, Tangler changes the life of a conversation,” Martin Wells, CEO.

An invite only beta starts in September but they are looking for sites now who are interested. Email them for consideration.
Here are a few examples:

-    Embedded in Typepad
-    Embedded in WordPress
-    Original in Tangler
