One of the biggest parties to start of the South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive conference has typically been the TechSet Party and this year, it’s coming back. Last year’s event at the Speakeasy was a packed event with both badged attendees and those without badges co-mingling and getting to know each other or reconnect after a year apart. This year, TechSet founders, Brian Solis and Steph Agresta, are bringing the party to Enzo Austin and you’re not going to want to miss this.

Everyone that attends SXSW wants to feel special and treated like royalty, right? Well this year, OnStar and Chevrolet are joining the TechSet crew to put on the 2011 SXSW edition of the TechSet party where you’ll hopefully get the celebrity treatment and get to meet all your favorite friends, Internet personalities and get to meet some really great people! As with all TechSet parties, the “dress the part” clause will be in effect and according to their site, you’re expected to show how you’re “living rock stardom”.

Tickets are available now on the TechSet party Eventbrite page so don’t miss out on this great opportunity. This is not one you’re going to want to miss if you’re looking to start your SXSW experience off right!

You can’t really go to a major conference in the technology or social media industry without hearing about a really great party. Chances are that they’re usually run by the TechSet folks. You know these people…they’re Brian Solis and Steph Agresta and they’re going to be throwing it down again next week in Las Vegas at the 2010 edition of the BlogWorld & New Media Expo on opening night. As one of the official parties, it’s most likely going to be one of the hottest parties for bloggers, podcasters, social media professionals and friends on the Las Vegas Strip. Do you want to go? Just stop on by…the official fun begins at 8:30pm at the Aria Hotel in one of the coolest locations in the hotel: by the pool.

Yes, that’s right…TechSet has brought the pool back to the BlogWorld parties.

In what will surely go down as a great event, the fun doesn’t stop with the mingling of people and cool music being blasted throughout the night. Word on the street is that there are surprises in store as well, but no one really knows what they are. In any event, make sure you head on down to Aria Hotel on Thursday, October 14 and get ready to have some fun. Who knows, you might be mingling with the blogosphere’s best and brightest like David Armano, Ford’s Scott Monty, Chris Brogan, Mashable’s Brett Petersel and Karen Hartline, Whrrl’s very own Heather Meeker, Hootsuite’s Krystyl Baldwin, Mark Horvath, Vanessa Camones, Network Solutions’ Shashi Bellamkonda, Beth Kanter, Adrants’ Steve Hall, C.C. Chapman, Justin Levy and many more.

If you were at last year’s TechSet party at BlogWorld, you know that when Solis and Agresta throw a party, they go all out. With good beats and great showgirls posing for photos with guests, it was good times to be had by all.

The 2010 edition of the South by Southwest Interactive conference kicked off with a bang at the TechSet & Windows Phone party in Austin, Texas. Held at the Speakeasy, thousands of SXSW attendees flocked to get in on the fun and meet new friends and rekindle old friendships. Thanks to the tandem team of Stephanie Agresta and Brian Solis, the TechSet & Windows Phone party was rocking through the night, complete with a Bing photo booth, musical acts, and a DJ pumping out beats.

All the digerati were out in force this night and surely the TechSet Party help set the tone for the parties during the rest of South by Southwest. From seeing folks like Sean Percival, Robert Scoble, Dave Mathews, Jess Berlin, Chris Heuer, Scott Beale, Adam Ostrow, Adam Hirsch, Wm. Marc Salsberry and many others, the TechSet party was definitely the place to be.

Are you going to South by Southwest this year? If so, one of the biggest parties of the conference is set to be the TechSet party on Friday, March 12 at Speakeasy in Austin, TX. I was fortunate enough to make it into the TechSet party last year and it was definitely a great event. This year it’s sponsored by Windows Phone and will bring out all the digerati to play, drink and conversate with one another. If there’s one place you want to be seen, then look no further because the TechSet party is where it’s at. You’ll be able to meet all sorts of influencers like Brian Solis, Jeremiah Owyang, Robert Scoble, Jess Berlin, Stephanie Agresta, Cathy Brooks and many others.

This is the party that will be a benchmark for the other events happening throughout this year’s South by Southwest Interactive conference. It all goes down on March 12. In the latest edition of Blogworld, the folks at TechSet weren’t shy about bringing their awesome party to Sin City. Sponsored by Thoora.com and Anheuser-Busch, one of the most popular events of the week was held at The Bank in the world-famous Bellagio Casino & Hotel. It was here that bloggers, new media & social folks gathered to celebrate camaraderie and the start of one of the largest technology conferences in the country. The great organizers, including Stephanie Agresta and Brian Solis, brought in some legendary Las Vegas showgirls to help create a more Vegas-style atmosphere and the DJs kept the party going for most of the night.

TechSet’s reputation has even brought out some celebrities to party the night away, including CNN anchor and Blogworld keynote panelist Don Lemon, Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh, Emily Grimmel, the COO of Current TV Joanna Drake Earl, renowned music producer Jermaine Dupri, and even more!

Overall, the TechSet party really was a great success and with music and drinks flowing, there was definitely ample opportunity for people to unleash their inner celebrity and be rockstars.
