FriendFeed FTW with New iPhone Interface

by Brian Solis on June 30, 2008

Twitter unlocked its “Replies” tab today and FriendFeed released its new iPhone interface, FTW.

FriendFeed is the new darling of the blogosphere and for good reason. It aggregates the online activity of you and your social graph into one easy to view stream, from tweets to blog posts and everything in between. The most compelling feature is that people can comment directly in FriendFeed, with some of those comments making it back to its point of origin – depending on the platform.

For the time being, FriendFeed is not only aggregating online activity, but more importantly, aggregating online conversations as well.

Today Bret Taylor and company released an elegant iPhone interface that looks and acts just like the real thing. For those using other Web-enabled phones, make sure to bookmark this address instead.

Chris Pirillo had a great comment over at the FriendFeed blog, which I thought was definitely worth sharing, “Wait a second. Why isn’t the FriendFeed blog… just another FriendFeed account? This is crazy. You’ve got your blog in Blogger, and… nobody’s commenting here because people are commenting on Bret’s link.”
