For those of you that were strong enough to evade the seduction of the Computer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas which begins today, we have a much more local and healthier alternative than flying to Sin City. Our dear friend Myles Weissleder has once again arranged for a fantastic SF New Tech Meetup at Mighty on Utah Street. Those of you that have not made it to a SF New Tech for a while, Myles gives us five gentlemen that will demo their hot new startups. He is also open to inviting any female to demo their entrepreneurial endeavors.
When speaking with Myles last week, he promised me that 2008 will start off with a packed show. Starting with our friend, Brian Caldwell of Plasq and Chris Pearson, CEO, want to help “to create simpler, fun, more inspiring, more flexible and natural interfaces to create what’s in your mind and to express”. With products like Skitch, this company alone is worth while. Philip Bensaid of Crush3r, Thor Muller of Satisfaction, Michael Land of Smashmash.tv and Gil Heiman of Clarizen are the other four Startups to Demo.
