According to the site, “StartupLA is LA’s first unconference about entrepreneurial ventures. The event will bring together various members of the LA entrepreneurial community, from VCs to marketers to lawyers to entrepreneurs. It is a forum for everyone to share their best practices, tips and tricks, and learn from the experiences of others.”Formal panels are Friday afternoon with topics designed for companies in the startup phase. Topics range from pitching VCs and raising money, to legal startup advice, to marketing.
