I was in Las Vegas for only 24 hours due to a full list of commitments in San Francisco to close out the work week.
While there however, a visit to Podtech’s Bloghaus was a high priority.
I jumped on a shuttle following the “It Won’t Stay in Vegas Blogger Party”, along with Robert Scoble, Tom Foremski, Buzz Bruggeman, Sarah Meyers, and Rocky Barbanica.
Last year, Bloghaus was the place to be; no night clubs, no fancy celebrity-headlined parties, just the company of cool geeks and influential bloggers.
What a difference a year makes. The vibe was different, but still worthwhile.
I’m told that the night to be there was Sunday…all of the energy spilled over from Bill Gates brilliant keynote and elevated the atmosphere to a level that I’m sorry I missed. I was there on Tuesday night, and quite honestly, was glad I was there.
While enjoying the open bar and incredible food, I bumped into Dan Farber, Marc Canter, John Furrier, Valerie Cunningham, and several others.
My highlight of the night was joining Mischief and Calyber of the Frag Dolls in some exciting Halo 3 action…Mishief and I went undefeated at 2 for 2 
Good times!
