Please Fix the iPhone!

Are you in a love/hate relationships with your iPhone? Me too.

It seems that no matter how brilliant and groundbreaking, the missing simplicity of common tasks and processes is slowly eroding consumer enthusiasm for the iPhone. Everyday, I encounter people who literally throw their phones in frustration.

Perhaps there’s help around the corner.

Please Fix the iPhone is a new community where you can vent and hopefully, have a say in which bugs, quirks, and blatant oversights are addressed by Apple.

Most of the common complaints are listed in the directory. Users can vote on those that they feel need the most attention. The higher the votes, the quicker it rises to the top.

No surprises here, but the top ten include:

1 – Copy and paste

2 – Flash support

3 – Email tilt

4 – MMS

5 – iChat support

6 – iPhone as a 3g modem for the Macbook

7 – Camera to support a larger click area for snapping pix

8 – Hiding unwanted icons

9 – Adjusting Safari’s cache

10 – Video recording

Go and vote or add your own gripe! Hopefully Apple is listening and applying resources to reduce the heat on this boiling pot of discontentment.
