Notified.tv is a new stealth mode company that promises users that that “they will never miss their favorite t.v. show again.” While the beta is not officially out yet, the site does discuss some of the very interested features that they are going to offer. For starters, Notified.tv covers around 300 channels from around the world so pretty much have you covered regardless of what your favorite t.v. show is. Notified also let’s you set alerts for your favorite t.v. shows that notify you when your show is coming on. These notifications can be sent to you via email, chat client, or even via text message. Notified also integrates with twitter to allow you to post messages about the shows you are watching or planning to watch.

To be honest I’m not a big t.v. watcher but I know that many people are and I think Notified.tv has a very interesting and unique approach to the t.v. guide. Of course people watch enough t.v, but that’s another topic all together. I am currently waiting for the beta program to launch and when it does I will definitely write a more comprehensive post. In the meantime you too can visit the site and enter your e-mail address to be notified when they do launch.

What do you think of the Notified approach to the t.v. guide, would you use it?

Norified comes in handy as more then a tv guide. I for instance live in Holland and like to follow the series in the US when they play so I can watch them. Of course they are not listed in my tv guide so that’s when you need Notified.
