Tod Mesirow, who has been a producer and writer for popular shows including MythBusters, Monster Garage and Wired Science, is working on his next show, and he’s look for you to host it!
Mesirow sold his next series to a popular cable network and they’re already locked in for programming to start in June 2008. He’s asked bub.blicio.us to help him find his host.
The show is a cross between Mythbusters and Jackass, set in the realm of rock and roll, and fuses technology and pop culture.
They’re looking for someone who embodies both their inner geek and rockstar for a perfect combination of Buckaroo Bonzai and MacGyver. It’s open to males or females, or both, and they prefer that you have a massive knowledge of everything rock and roll as well as possessing design and build skills.
Ideally you’ll have that odd combination of care-free open attitude combined with a willingness to focus, and be serious now and then, to get stuff done and effectively with a cool group of people.
You don’t have to be in Los Angeles, but it will help as that’s where filming will be done.
