Brian Solis is keynoting a free event tomorrow in Chicago. The New Media Revolution: How Arts Organizations Can Thrive in the Digital Age is presented tomorrow from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm by the Chicago Community Trust. The half-day event features experts with relevant experience who can help guide your arts (or non-profit) through the sometimes intimidating world of social media.
The event is rather jam-packed, including Brian’s keynote, 2 panels of some rather well-known Web 2.0 names/organizations, and a closing session with Kara Walsh, CEO of Metromix, on how newspapers are entering the digital age. (I’d love to hear that. Our local Cincinnati paper is having problems entering the digital age.)
The event is free and is taking place at the Chicago Cultural Center on Randolph Street. Registration is limited to two registrants per organization. No registrants will be accepted day-of, so sign up now if you’re in Chicago.

And don’t forget, you can join the Tweetup tonight at Crimson Lounge and meet a lot of the folks who’ll be in attendance at the seminar.
