Taking a break from all those TechCrunch40 postings I am sure some people will want a post of something new…like a Lunch 2.0 event! This lunch took place in dowtown San Mateo at the office of Rock You! It was another great turnout with plenty of food and in case people were still hungry, there was another round of pizza to stuff the crowd of 200+ people that showed up. A presentation was given of the success of the company and how the company is getting a sh!#load of traffic. It sounds like another good potential startup that is well funded by Sequoia Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Partech International. I am just a little uncertain about the business model of the company. Their main focus seems to be creating slideshows yet they also have a big focus on creating Facebook apps and are responsible for 10 out of the top 40 Facebook apps. It will be interesting to see how the company is doing once they figure out what they are doing.
