This isn’t technology, per se, but it did take amazing patience and painstaking attention to detail. The Hong Kong Lego User Group has recreated sites from the Beijing Olympics in Legos.
The Hong Kong group created the Bird’s Nest Stadium, the inside and outside views of the Water Cube (complete with swimmers), the Olympic Village, the Equestrian Stables and Arena, Sand Volleyball, Tennis, PingPong, Cycling, and more.
