So many Web 2.0 companies, So little time!

iJustine, Justin.tv’s replacement for 24 hours

Justin of Justin.tv modeling Viddler and Bubblicious stickers
This was the party to be seen at. It was sponsored by the hottest companies out there. Held at Varnish, the latest hot spot, during the Web2.0 Expo, folks were ready to party and let off some steam after chatting up all that tech talk all day. The companies that sponsored this fab party included:

Viddler uploads videos to their site. They have a web app that allows uploading, enhances and shares digital video quickly inside one’s web browser. They are beyond excited to be launching version 2.0 of their site.

JanRain is launching a newly redesigned myOpenID building the next generation of light-weight identity services for the web. They are seeking to provide identity services that help users securely manage, control and innovate their own digital identities with OpenID.

Plasq is working to create better computer interfaces and enjoyable experiences. They have some cool products found here.

Citizen Agency is an Internet consultancy specializing in developing community-centric strategies around product research, design, development and marketing.

Ma.gnolia shares and discusses the best of the web through saving of bookmarks on the web. They can also “tag” them, assigning labels that make them easy to find again. When one searches for something, once can use words that people choose and look only at websites that people think are worth saving.

Who doesn’t know Facebook! The largest social network site, behind MySpace with over 19 million users! Gary Vaynerchuk is the man behind the

Wine Library and wants to bring it to anyone who will listen through his online videos.

Fabernovel are management consultants out of France and if you want to learn more about them, go to their website but it will help if you know French!

Scrapblog goes beyond sharing photos and videos online by providing drag-and-drop making it eashy for users to tell their stories and create multimedia scrapbooks.

This was a party thrown for the masses. And boy did they come. There was a line out the door lasting late into the evening. Quite a number of players showed up to take advantage of the open bar and free food. I have to say though, for so many folks sponsoring this event, the food was not anything special. Although the Cupcakes were scrumptious looking and even better when indulged.

Al Saracevic from SFGate
Justin of Justin.TV who has been live on the Internet 24/7 had a break for the night. His replacement for 24 hours, iJustin whom he had met at Mac World travelled all the way from Pennsylvania to fill in for him. She appeared to be holding her own, surrounded by a crowd keen on knowing what it was like to be “the replacement.” Justin, enjoying his time without all his video equipment, kept himself busy being the party boy he is. He even modeled the stickers that ended up everywhere, as you’ll see.

Thanks for coming and taking great photos!

BTW…the food was meant as an afterthought…being a ‘later’ party. Besides…who needs food when it’s an open bar? C’mon…most of us are unfunded. ;)
