However, I like FriendFeed and see conversations going on there. It's a great way to see what's important to others, what they bookmark on delicious, tweets on Twitter. FriendFeed will "feed" your FaceBook account, if you want.Plurk: Signed up, but then it was down. I understand many people don't like it initially then grow to love it. I'm struggling with that elephant torso/bullseye logo. What is that?Twitter? Dittos! Have met offline only because of Twitter, great "latest news, tools" resource.

yes, i think we all know how much you love friendfeed, i'm not that crazy about it yet. you've spoken with them, what are their plans?@Rudy
thanks for sharing from a real estate perspective. in addition to finding out how you can benefit from each social network, i also think you need to find away how you can benefit the people that network with you. of course being proactive and contributing is a great start@stefan
I will have to check out hellotxt, haven't heard of them. netvibes can be a great way to watch all your platforms, but of course, there are only so many you can watch. if you like twitter, you may like plurk :)thanks for reading and commenting!

@scoble<br

It's too hard to keep track of everything. I have to have it all in one place or I wouldn't do anything.Got to go look at Plurk now and see how that can tie up even more of my time.

I use Hellotxt.com to post to my Myspace, Twitter and Facebook accounts and I watch them all though a Netvibes page I created. The key is to find how each one can benefit you. Just setting up a profile and being there is not enough. You have top be proactive within the community. Tools on the other hand, should really make your life easier. If they don't, skip em.I just wrote a post for my vertical, real estate, on the top 3 social media sites and how to use them. From my experience, this is how I have successfully used them -http://www.truliablog.com/2008/06/17/the-top-3-non-real-estate-social-me...Peace,Rudy
