The very talented folks over at HeyCosmo are prepping for the launch of an entirely new technology platform. Before they go live, the company wanted to channel some of the new capabilities into a fun little product for you to use especially today.
Introducing HeyCosmo Prankster.
From the Website, “Let HeyCosmo Prankster do your dirty work. Type your wicked custom message and shock the crap out of them. It’s absolutely free and it’s hilarious!”
You can use the service in Facebook or at HeyCosmo.com, just type in what you want to say to your friends, enter their telephone numbers and the platform turns your text into a voice on the fly. HeyCosmo Prankster will call your friends anonymously or with your phone number and play your message (and it will keep calling them until they answer!).
Sending a Prank Call:
1. Enter your friends’ telephone numbers.
2. Type in your wicked message.
3. Choose to send your message anonymously or with your phone number.
4. Click send.
5. Wait a few seconds and HeyCosmo will show you a real-time status of the phone call as its being delivered. You’ll know if they pick up their phone and listen.
Tracing a Prank Call:
1. If you receive a HeyCosmo Prank Call, visit prankster.heycosmo.com. Enter your number and the Prank Call Code you heard at the end of the call.
2. Follow the instructions on the page to see the text of the prank/s, block all future pranks, or block pranks from individual pranksters.
3. Feel free to prank back!
Have fun!
Discussion
There are some more applications that have been released by Arsenal Interactive / HeyCosmo (www.heycosmo.com) that fans of Prankster will be interested in.
Blaster allows users to send automated (text-to-speech) calls out to one or many friends and give polling options. It is very easy and is free to use with no downloads.
MyConcierge will do a search for commercial vendors and services in your area and send automated polling calls to inquire about what you would normally have to call 411 for and repeatedly dial. This is a time and effort saver…really neat.
Both of these applications let you see responses in real-time.
