Obviously he is able to tap into the Twittersphere and gain relevant knowledge to how he can integrate a more real-time experience with Facebook (as seen through the redesigned homepage). Social networking gurus are starting to realize that there must be something done in order to maintain a strong member base against other competing social networks. I believe the next best thing will be integrating a prize initiative for members, just like the recently launched social network, www.HopOnThis.com. Members earn points by staying socially active on the site. They have a prize closet for their users to trade in their points earned for gift cards, money, and raffle entries for larger prizes.

I personally believe this was a great move for Mark Zuckerberg to make.
