The Bubblicious crew not only covered one party; we covered two at the same time! Down town San Francisco brought together the techie and the sultry crowds out to two amazing venues. We started off at the Black & Pink Party thrown by Ms. Kelly Rogal and Mr. Kurt Collins at Sugar Cafe. The party was so packed that by the time we got there, the cops were throwing out half the invitees for crowd control! Luckily, the crowd was able to visit downstairs to the Cellar right below the cafe and were able to come up later in the evening.

The level of intensity got even better as we headed to Le Colonial thrown by Engage.com big man Julian Brass! He made sure we were taken care as well as bringing together available single men and women to the club. This was also aided by the crew at James and Randy Entertainment. The night proved to be explosive at Le Colonial!!! Julian heads ‘various’ marketing efforts for Engage which was founded in 2005. Their service makes it “easy to meet new people and explore an attraction online just like finding someone new at a trusted friend’s party, out in the real world” as mentioned on their site.

I have to say that every Engage event that I have attended, the ratio of men and women has been somewhat even. However, the level of sophisticated people that Engage.com draws is quite alluring and beckons for even those that are with significant others another good look at the Singles scene. Again, it is through these grass roots parties that makes Engage.com a more sustainable and appealing approach to meeting people online than other nefarious portals like Craigslist personals. This is a complaint that I have heard from both men and women about those other sites not just in the Bay Area, but from others looking for love throughout the world. Below are examples of what a typical Engage.com event entails.
