In case you didn’t know, famed author Shel Israel is set to publish his second book called Twitterville and last Sunday he hosted a party celebrating its launch. After the party, I was fortunate enough to be invited to an intimate brunch with Israel and several of his close friends both online and from out-of-town. In attendance included a bevy of rockstars including Jennifer McClure, Jeremiah Owyang, Richard Binhammer, Tony Welch, Erica O’Grady, Shashi Bellamkonda, Amber Naslund, Francine Hardaway, Elliott Ng and Janis Krum (the photographer of the Miracle on the Hudson famous photo).
These people are just some of the fine folks that helped make up Twitterville and the food was delicious. Heartfelt thanks to the Israel household for inviting us over.
Here are some photos of the event that tells the story:

Jeremiah Owyang sitting next to Lionel Menchaca (Dell)

KD Paine made an appearance and took some time to take pictures of the event.

Network Solution’s own social media swami, Shashi Bellamkonda poses for a picture with Michael Brito.

Erica O’Grady posing before she sets off to interview some of the folks at the brunch.

HP’s social media guy, Tony Welch talks with Dell’s social media guy, Richard Binhammer. Wonder what new plans are being brewed.
You can see more photos from this event on my Flickr set.
