Twiistup, SoCal’s most prominent and well-known tech event, is having a 5th outing on February 12, 2009. Getting Twiisted includes getting to know several start-ups chosen by a panel of judges. The startups showcase their products & services to influential bloggers, fellow tech-heads, investors, the media and those interested in learning about what’s hot in tech.
Brian Solis, from bub.blicio.us and PR 2.0, will be on hand at Twiistup 5 to document the event for his blogs and to help determine the Judge’s Choice award. Other judges include entrepreneurs Will Jessup and Andrew Warner, and journalist Sarah Lacey. This will be the first time this award will be given at any Twiistup. The Judges Choice award is in addition to the Fan Favorite award, which is determined by the attendees and followers of the event.
Twiistup 5 is at Private Hanger West, Los Angeles, from 7 pm – midnight on February 12. Tickets are $75.
