You know you’ve always wanted to break a world record, but you’re not a track star nor are you going to swim the English Channel anytime soon. But now there’s a much easier way to break a record, and you never have to leave your desk.

Firefox v3 will be released soon. It’s already getting rave reviews. The release date has not yet been announced, but rest assured, it will be big news.

Mozilla is hoping to break the Guinness World Record for the most software downloads in 24 hours on Download Day, when they release the software. So far, 144, 000+ people have pledged to download the new version.
