If you haven’t heard yet, Blog World Expo and New Media Expo have merged into one event aptly called BlogWorld & New Media Expo. As usual the event will take place from October 15 – 17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center but this time attendees are really going to get a lot more value and information from the event. As Tim Bourquin (the fellow that runs New Media Expo) puts it:
“This is going to be a great move for both attendees and exhibitors. A single event that covers blogging, podcasting and all other forms of new media is truly needed for everyone to create better content and provides a huge networking event for everyone involved in this space.”
Together the two events have attracted speakers such as:
Steve Rubel
Guy Kawasaki
Robert Scoble
Chris Brogan
Tim Ferriss
Mike Shinoda
and many others
Apparently the event is going to beef up their product offering as well. As Rick mentions (the fellow that runs Blog World Expo):
“The show floor will feature an abundance of products and services designed to help bloggers, podcasters, new media executives and entrepreneurs improve the look, quality and functionality of their blogs, podcasts, increase their readership, and monetize their online content.”
