Babuki, the Master Instant Messenger

Babuki is a desktop instant messaging service that is designed to work with virtually every im service out there, including facebook im. Basically, you are able to bring all of your contacts together in one easy to manage place.

I think I have reached a certain saturation point with trying to aggregate my information, that’s why I’m still using twitter and not friendfeed. My contacts usually call or email me. I do use aim/skype/gtalk occasionally but I am fine running those 3 platforms separately. Truth be told I think skype is by far the best platform out there and I usually try to migrate my contacts to that platform.

What do you think? Would you use something like Babuki or are you fine using your existing platforms for IM conversations?

Seems like a useful tool. The only problem I have is that way back I had a .mac account and that became my AOL instant messenger login. The username is my .mac email addy. This one, like many other IM clients don’t let you put that in… alas, I cannot use it for all my IM accounts. It fails. Back to Digsby.
