There’s Facebook, Myspace, Bebo, and then there’s the “other” social network that seems to have people talking these days.
I noticed over at TechCrunch that AdultFriendFinder may have been acquired by Penthouse Media for $500 million about half of the rumored $1 billion discussed earlier.
The time is ripe to sell for top dollar and will be in early 08 as well. Word is that the company has actively been shopping itself over the last year and there’s a strong chance that this deal may have already gone down.
I wonder if this network will connect to the so-called Social Graph by launching a Facebook app and a Social Ad strategy after the acquisition…
